電柱暗く続き高原の雨しとしと降る

A line of telephone poles in the dark
Drizzling rain on the plateau

死を見守る蠅とその蠅の影

Watching over death
a fly and its shadow

青み渡れる海を見て飯がつめたい

Watching the ocean blue
my dinner gets cold

風がおとすもの拾うてゐる

The wind
is picking up
things that were dropped

風はれるとする谷川へ散る葉

The wind is growing calm
Leaves fall in the mountain stream

竹の枯葉の散る子の墓に屋根する

Dead bamboo leaves
form a roof
over my child’s grave
