NOTES:
The second verse describes the Japanese card game Bouzu Mekuri in which players draw cards with the ultimate goal of ending the game with the most cards in hand. If a player draws Lords, he gets to keep them in his hand, but the Bouzu, or the Bald Monk, forces the player to discard his entire hand. The Lady, however, allows the player to take all discarded cards, making her a desirable draw.
