にんげんをかえせ

にんげんの にんげんのよのあるかぎり
くずれぬへいわをへいわをかえせ

NOTES:

Toge Sankichi (1917-1953) was a survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. His most famous work is Poems of the Bomb (原爆詩集, “Atomic Bomb Poetry Collection”), published in 1951. He died two years later at the age of 36.
