Yuriko Seto was born in Tokyo in 1972 and currently resides in Hokkaido. Discovered haiku in 1997 at a haiku gathering called Hashi (“Bridge”). Has participated in groups such as WA and itak. Won an honorable mention in the 29th Annual Gendai Haiku Association New Face Award in 2011. Won the Central Hokkaido Haiku Award in 2014. A member of the Gendai Haiku Association and the Hokkaido Haiku Association, she is also the president of the Sapporo Haiku Club. Her haiku collection Confession (告白) was released in 2017.
